Privacy Policy
We believe privacy should be understandable. This notice explains the personal data involved in using our website and contacting our team.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled in connection with the Diamond Protocol informational Website and direct business enquiries.
For enquiries about this Website, contact diamondp@diamond-protocol.com.
For personal data relating to this Website and our direct business communications, the business operating under the Diamond Protocol name acts as the controller. Roles concerning client applications may differ under separate agreements.
2. Information we may receive
Information you provide: if you email us, we may receive your name, email address, company, project description and any other information you choose to include.
Technical information: our hosting provider may process IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, device or browser information and server logs for delivery, troubleshooting, security and abuse prevention. Actual logging and retention depend on hosting configuration.
This static Website does not contain an on-site contact form, user account registration, behavioural advertising tags or analytics trackers on this Website.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We may use enquiry information to respond to you, assess potential projects and take steps at your request before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where applicable). We may also retain necessary business correspondence and protect our services on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)), or meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing without an appropriate legal basis.
4. Data of our clients’ application users
Diamond Protocol develops web applications, integrations and automation software. End-user personal data processed through an application provided to one of our clients is not automatically collected by this corporate Website.
For client-operated applications, the client commonly determines why and how its end-user data is processed and may be the controller. Depending on the system design and the services contracted, we may have no operational access, or limited authorised access may be required for support, deployment or maintenance.
We do not seek routine access to clients’ users' data and do not use it for our own marketing, data brokerage or independent profiling. Any processing on a client’s behalf must be governed by suitable terms and, where required, an Article 28 GDPR data processing agreement. Product-specific privacy notices are provided by the relevant controller and may differ from this Website policy.
6. Retention
Business emails are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant enquiry, any subsequent business relationship, legal obligations or legitimate claim management. Server log retention is set by the hosting provider and configuration. For enquiries about applicable retention periods, contact us using the address above.
7. Security
We aim to use measures appropriate to the nature and risks of the information processed. No internet service or transmission method is guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive datasets by ordinary email unless an appropriate secure transfer method has been arranged.
8. Your privacy rights
Where GDPR applies and subject to statutory conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can contact us at diamondp@diamond-protocol.com for privacy requests.
You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, such as the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this notice as our services or legal requirements change. The updated version will display a revised date. For questions about this notice or our handling of personal data, email diamondp@diamond-protocol.com.
